This place never fails! Today I ordered one of the breakfast specials, which consisted of mixed berry crepes with 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon or sausage. Luckily I favor turkey products and was able to get turkey sausage. Let me just say the service is amazing! Super friendly and enthusiastic staff. My mug of coffee was never left empty for too long on top of the food coming out quickly. But those crepes.... They are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for an amazing breakfast! See y'all again real soon.

We had a similar experience as other reviewers. Some customers were greeted with smiles and others were not, like us, for example. The favored customers were also served faster. The table next to us arrived well after us, yet received their order a solid ten minutes before us. No complicated orders from either of us. When the food arrived, the bacon was limp, the onions in the omelet were raw and the biscuit was rock hard and black on the bottom. Also, had to ask for utensils so we could eat this lovely meal. When we left, it was all smiles and "have a nice day!" Too late.

Wasn't bad, but wasn't really good either. I ordered the crepes and wasn't too impressed. My boyfriend said his meal was just "ok." The only up side is that it is conveniently located to our house. Other than that, there are better options in the area.

Different experience today. Deplorable service. Tables seated after us were served before us. Refills on beverages never came. Order came with items missing. Potatoes were cold separate checks weren't separated. It will be a long time if I ever return. But I doubt I will.

Best part of the place is its biscuit. The fluffiest and best tasting ones I have ever had. Huge on top of that. More like a cake size then biscuit. The other food well yeah they had other food. Not the quickest short order diner place you will find. Food was ok. I couldn't really see myself craving to go back there. It's one of those yeah I guess lets go there tired of the other places. Service was Interesting. Some people got greeted with open arms others barely an effort to make eye contact. You didn't get that your welcome here come on in feeling like you get at the Ocoee diner. Not saying the food is better or worse just the service made that big of an impact.

This place is awful... A complete joke. Since it's the ONLY diner in the area. Been here 3x and everytime food is average and service is the worst ever. Server only pays attention to the regulars. If your NOT a regular you will be ignored. All 3 times I had to get up after being seated for over 8 min and ASK if someone is gonna take my order. I watched 3 servers walk around behind counter and laugh and joke and talk with each other and when I asked, it was like I interrupted a party. Just horrible...AVOID!!!!!

As we are yet less than a year in Florida we make it a habit to try a new restaurant every week. 3 weeks ago we tried The Winter Garden Restaurant as we like to find local places instead of chain restaurants. We were pleased to find a clean, friendly place with delicious food. We have been back 2 more times. Their specials are always changing, and we have never been disappointed with the quality or taste. The waitresses Shalyn and Susan are pleasant and attentive. We even got the chance to speak with the owner who was informative and delightful. We hope they continue to have success as we are now one of their "usuals". Their pies are very good as well, always homemade, as with what ever they are serving. Don't miss checking this place out, they are only open til 2pm.

Good, hearty, tasty, comfort food for breakfast and lunch! Nothing fancy about this restaurant! but I still come here, just for good, home-cooked goodness. Very reasonably priced! ($8-$12 per entree) Warning: nothing "diet" per se, except salads. So come hungry! Waitresses generally are great: occasionally get one that is moody, but if you come often: that works itself out!

Not a great experience in a restaurant with otherwise good reviews. Maybe they were having an off day? We sat ourselves and were greeted promptly. We placed our order, my companion ordered breakfast, and I ordered an avocado club sandwich. My companion's meal arrived long before mine. In fact, he was also done eating by the time mine finally arrived. When it was put in front of me it was an absolute mess. The server apologized that the cook was confused about what bread I'd requested and kept moving the sandwich's contents from one type of bread to another before finally getting it right. The result was a disaster. She took it away before I could try a bite to have it remade. So by the time my new sandwich arrived (looking great) my friend was completely done eating. Not good, especially considering it was a VERY basic sandwich I'd ordered. The side salad I had with my meal was pretty sorry looking too. Definitely a "meh" experience.

Waitress: How were the crepes? (Referencing the two small, cold, stale pieces of bready substance on my plate) Me: Eh... Not great. Waitress: Oh... Huh... (walks away) Great service, right? The prices are cheap, but the portions are small. The food isn't anything special and, like I referenced above, the crepes I ordered tasted stale (how the heck does that happen?) No thanks!

I showed up at noon on a Sunday, and there was no wait and I was seated immediately. The menu is sized appropriately and has lunch and breakfast items on it. Since I was behaving this particular day with my diet, I ordered a nice omlette. It had some chicken and spinach and peppers in it with a little bit of salsa on the top, and it was prepared well. Their coffee is good, and they had some really tasty sounding sweet and savory breakfasts that I'll order next time I go on a diet cheat day. Hopefully their biscuits and gravy do not disappoint me; I'm still looking for a really good biscuits and gravy place in Winter Garden, as the other three breakfast diners in the area I have been to (First Watch, Country House, and Avalon Diner) have either not had them on the menu, had them but they were bland, or had really bad service. So the service was pretty good. I was worried that I would have issues with the service due to the average age of the staff (I realize that I am getting old now; I saw at least two of the hosts/floaters that looked like they were 14, but they were friendly, attentive, and the servers were quick. My coffee was refilled quickly, I had plenty of water, and my wife had her tea topped off the whole meal. I'll definitely head back to this place if the wait at First Watch is more than a few minutes (FW is closer to my house), or if I get the craving for biscuits and gravy.

Had a wonderful breakfast here! The crepes were amazing... I have never had a crepe that tasted this good. My husband had the Biscuits & Gravy and the biscuits are homemade and great! The best part is they cater to the kids as well with there pancakes. We will be long time costumers.

I will NEVER go to this place again. With all do respect the staff is completely and truthfully racist. The whole place including all the workers in the back are caucasian. Every single person who works there is caucasian. Are people of any nationality beside white allowed to work there? Nevertheless I was treated as dirt, my food was cold when i got it. The server forgot a side order that i made. YET everyone else in the restaurant (caucasian) was well taken care of. I know cause i sat there and watch how they treated my party and other parties. In this day and age i would hope we are not still catch up on the color of someones skin. Money is money whether black, white, hispanic, asian you name it we are all gifts from god. Everyone should be treated as a human being. I will never come back to this restaurant again nor will i ever recommend it. I am ashamed i brought my family to such a distressing place. The management team really needs to reconsider how things are ran here. There are no lies in my words just sharing my experience. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! and always rememberer "You never get a second chance at a first impression."

The building caught on fire early 2011 and just re opened October 2011. It's now a new restaurant albeit with the same owners and great breakfast as always. The only thing missing now is the greasy smell that I'm sure will return to make it feel like a diner again.
